If you are replacing the injectors on your 1980's classic Mercedes, then it's recommended to replace these rubber injector holders as they are prone to drying out over time and can cause air leaks. 

There are several variations of this seal which can be identified by the type of engine you have. This is for the KJet fuel system as found on the M116, M117, M119.980, M102, M103, M104.980

 Additionally, there is an injector holding sleeve found on all the engines except for the 4 cylinders. 

These are OEM seals.
